The Partnerships Program at Ecostudies Institute works closely with other Ecostudies programs and collaborates with other partners to expand capacity for prairie-oak restoration and identify shared goals.
Cascadia Prairie-Oak Partnership
Ecostudies coordinates the Cascadia Prairie-Oak Partnership (CPOP), a community of people and organizations involved in prairie-oak conservation and species recovery efforts throughout western Cascadia. CPOP strives to improve outcomes by facilitating increased collaboration, idea sharing, and information transfer among the CPOP community.
Working Groups
Ecostudies coordinates several species-specific and regional working groups with partners throughout the region. Most of these groups meet annually to discuss and prioritize recovery actions, bringing together experts and implementers for improved outcomes.
Shared Resources
Shared Resources is a novel program nested within Ecostudies Institute that integrates a multi-organizational, modular crew with members from Ecostudies, Center for Natural Lands Management (CNLM), and The Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation to conduct restoration and monitoring activities throughout the South Puget Sound.
Seed Coordination
Ecostudies works with many partner organizations across the state to provide resources, support, and connection within the native seed community. We work closely with land managers, seed producers, collectors, and distributors across public and private organizations to support and increase the use of native seed in restoration efforts.
