Ecostudies Institute works with many partner organizations across the state to provide resources, support, and connection within the native seed community. We work closely with land managers, seed producers, collectors, and distributors across public and private organizations to support the use of native seed in restoration efforts in the south sound region of Washington State and beyond.

Washington Native Seed Coalition
To address the lack of reliably available native seed in Washington, Ecostudies Institute is leading a coordination effort between land managers, seed producers, seed collectors, and other diverse seed stakeholders across the state. This Coalition is in the process of developing a Washington State Seed Strategy by identifying seed needs and co-creating solutions.

South Sound Seed Strategy
Ecostudies Institute works within our local restoration community in the South Sound region to support our local native seed economy. With relationship building at the core of our mission, we work at the nexus between seed producers and land managers to maintain a steady flow of seed onto restoration sites and increase the abundance and diversity of native seed on the open market.
